Edward Hicks Hume papers, 1914-1957 (1942-1943).

The bulk of the collection consists of typewritten correspondence and a pamphlet describing Hume's son Theodore Carswell Hume, 1904 - 1943. There are also a number of Chinese paper coins, designed to be burnt as offerings during funerary rites. The current collection represents only a small part of what was originally documented as six boxes of archival papers including sermons, articles, press articles, addresse, broadcasts, letters and reports--the location of the remainder of the papers is unknown.
